If permanent connection of the PC is not possible, or use of a laptop is impractical, the optional Data Transfer Unit can be used. This still allows the use of the powerful AX100 software features offline as all the data is downloaded to the Data Transfer Unit. Simply plugging the DTU into a controller, downloads the correct data to the controller using its unique built-in address.
